The Consumer

You will be requested to read and accept these terms and conditions every time you place an order on the website. We therefore advise you to read these terms and conditions every time you visit the website to ensure you are aware of the latest terms and conditions.

As we can accept your order and make a legally enforceable agreement without further reference to you, you must abide the Terms and Conditions to ensure that they contain all that you agreed upon.

This agreement applies between you, the user of this website, and us. Your agreement to comply will be bound by these terms and conditions is deemed to occur upon your first use of the website. You should print or download these terms and conditions for future reference.


Returns, Cancellations or Exchanges

If, for any reason you have changed your mind, you have the right so do so (with exceptions to other products such in the interests of hygiene the following products are will not be exchanged or refunded: Hosiery, Briefs, Swimwear, Earrings, Hats, Fascinators).  Your statutory rights are not affected.

Most goods are available to be refunded within 30 days from the date of purchase. You can return products to us, most goods may be returned to local branches or by post.

We reserve the right to decline your order for reasons including, but are not limited to:

       Lacking stocks to deliver your goods, you have ordered (temporarily or otherwise)

       We do not deliver to your area (We only deliver within EX and DT postcodes)

       We are unable to cancel orders once you have passed through our payment system

General

Certain products are subject to age restrictions as indicated on the product page. By placing your order for any of these products, you confirm that you have reached the required age.

  • You must be over 18 to purchase any knives, and other pointed products such as scissors and even knitting needles
  • Under the Offensive Weapons Act 1996 it is an offence to sell knives, knife blades.  It is also an offence to buy any alcoholic giftware for persons under the age of 18. Accordingly, customers should not order these items for persons under 18. You must be over 16 years old to buy any liqueur chocolates. 
  • All measurements are approximate.
  • The reproduction of colours is as accurate as the photographic and production process will reasonably allow.
  • No postponement or failure to us in training or applying any of our rights or remedies under these relations shall work as a waiver of those rights.

 

All risk in the products we supply to you, the risk of any loss or damage, shall pass to you on delivery of the products to the address you specify in your order. Ownership of the products shall not pass to you until we have received payment in full in respect of such products.

We shall not be accountable for any inadvertent losses you may suffer, including any loss of profit, income or expected savings because of our failure to comply with these terms or our disregard. Save that our obligation in respect of any decease or personal injury caused by our negligence shall not in any way be limited.

These terms constitute the whole terms on which we will offer goods to you and cancel and supersede all prior arrangements and depictions, whether verbal or written.

No third party shall be entitled to enforce any terms whether by the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise.

All matters regarding and incidental to any proposal or arrangement for the procurement and sale of goods from our website shall be in English and interpreted and ruled according to English law.  The English courts shall have exclusive authority in all such matters.

We may alter these terms from time to time at our discretion without notice to you. Any amends will be delivered on this site and will replace any terms and conditions previously issued by us.
